First Impressions

Uncharted Waters is pleased to announce our 16th Contest,
'First Impressions'.


First impressions can be the most important;
they set attitudes firmly and can prove to be extremely hard to overcome.
It's great if a good one is made... but a bad one can mean disaster.

A first meeting can conjure excitement, anxiety, or disappointment.
A first impression can validate intuition or question the ability to judge.
Assumptions are made upon that first encounter...
will the result be humor, chagrin, regret, anger, or rejection?
It's up to you to decide!



The setting can be on or off the sub,
and can be any tone or length the writer wishes.
Submissions accepted from June 27 to July 30, 2005.
Posting of all entries will be on August 1, 2005.
Voting information (if there is to be a vote) will be announced at a later time.



If there is a Vote, a small Prize will be awarded to the final winning author.
Please note: All regular submission rules apply.
