Uncharted Waters is pleased to announce our first contest, 'Ghostly Passages'.
The rules are simple:

Write a Voyage story that somehow involves ghosts,
otherworldly phenomenon, or the paranormal.
***
Please, let Kreuger and Lani rest in peace;
they have had more than their fair share of the ghostly spotlight.
However... the following are permitted:
poltergeists, sirens, banshees, will o' the wisps,
shapeshifters, St. Elmo's Fire,
Bermuda Triangle phenomenon, fifolet, spirits, specters, and
any kind of ghosts.

Entries can be any length, any rating, and any form (stories, poetry, etc.)
All stories are subject to the regular posting rules.
Multiple submissions allowed!

Submissions accepted from Aug 1 to Oct 8.
Posting of all entries will be on Oct 9.
Readers may cast their ballots via a voting form from Oct 14 to Oct 28.
Announcement of the winners will take place on October 31st, Halloween!

A Prize will be awarded to the contest winners
and
to one randomly selected reader who has given feedback to any of the writers in the contest.
***
All contest participants will receive a token of appreciation,
our 'undying' gratitude,
and a special mention on the site.
