Heroes

Uncharted Waters is pleased to announce our 19th Contest, 'Heroes'.




Heroes are ordinary people who rise to the occasion
with extraoridinary courage and resolve;
they come in all shapes and sizes
and often remain unsung.
A true Hero doesn't crave glory or fame;
he or she simply does what has to be done, regardless of the cost.




Here's your chance to honor a Hero in a story,
whether they dwell in the spotlight or behind the scenes.
Remember, a Hero can be a mother, a teacher, a friend or a stranger.
Now is the time to explore the true definition of the word.



The setting can be on or off the sub,
and can be any tone or length the writer wishes.
Submissions accepted from May 26 to July 2, 2006.
Posting of all entries will be on July 4, 2006.

Voting information (if there is to be a vote) will be announced at a later time.



If there is a Vote, a small Prize will be awarded to the final winning author.
